1. Who we are

Replenish is a mobile application that helps users track their daily water intake and build a hydration habit. This Privacy Policy describes how the Replenish iOS application ("Replenish", "the app", "we", "us") handles your information.

This policy applies to the Replenish mobile application and the website hosted at replenish-app.com. It does not apply to any third-party services, websites, or applications you may access through the app or links on our website.

2. Data we collect

We collect no personal data. Replenish operates entirely on your device and does not transmit any information about you to us or to any third party.

Specifically:

• We do not require you to create an account or provide an email address.
• We do not use analytics, telemetry, crash reporting, or any tracking SDKs.
• We do not collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, or location data.
• We do not share, sell, or transmit any user data to advertisers, data brokers, or any third party.
• We do not access your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, or any system data beyond what is strictly necessary for the app to function.

For Apple's App Privacy questionnaire, Replenish is registered as: "Data Not Collected".

3. Data stored on your device

To provide its core functionality, Replenish stores the following information locally on your iPhone only:

Profile information

• First name (optional, used only for personalization within the app)
• Weight
• Sex assigned at birth
• Activity level

These inputs are used to calculate your personalized daily hydration goal.

App usage data

• Your water intake logs (amount and timestamp of each entry)
• Your daily hydration goal (auto-calculated or manually set)
• Your reminder preferences (enabled/disabled, frequency)
• Your streak and historical statistics derived from the above

This data is stored locally using on-device iOS app storage. It never leaves your device. We do not have a server, we do not have a database, and we cannot access this data — only you can.

How to delete this data

You can delete all locally stored data at any time:

• Open the app, go to Settings → Reset data, and confirm. This erases all logs, profile, and preferences immediately.
• Alternatively, delete the Replenish app from your iPhone. All data is removed with the app.

These actions are permanent and cannot be undone.

4. Notifications

Replenish can send local notifications to remind you to drink water. These notifications:

• Are disabled by default.
• Are scheduled and triggered locally on your device by iOS.
• Do not involve any server or external service. We do not have push notification infrastructure.
• Can be enabled, disabled, or have their frequency changed at any time in Settings → Hydration reminders.

Replenish requests iOS notification permission only after you complete onboarding and only if you have indicated interest in receiving reminders. If you decline the permission, reminders remain disabled and the app continues to function normally.

5. Third parties

Replenish does not use any third-party services that collect or process personal data. Specifically, the app does not include:

• Analytics services (Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, etc.)
• Crash reporting services (Sentry, Crashlytics, etc.)
• Advertising networks
• Social media SDKs or login systems
• Any cloud storage, sync, or backup services

The app does not communicate with any external server. It is fully self-contained.

Distribution of the app itself is handled by Apple via the App Store, which is governed by Apple's own privacy policy. We do not control or have access to information Apple may collect as part of App Store operations.

Because we do not collect or store any of your personal data on our systems, traditional data subject rights do not strictly apply — there is nothing on our end to access or erase.

However, you retain full control over the data stored on your device:

• Right to access — All your data is visible within the app at all times.
• Right to rectify — You can edit your profile and delete individual entries at any time.
• Right to erase — Use Settings → Reset data, or delete the app.
• Right to portability — Since data is local, you can take a screenshot of your statistics. We do not currently provide an export feature but may add one in future versions.

Replenish is suitable for general audiences. Because we collect no data whatsoever, we do not knowingly or unknowingly collect any information from children of any age.

If we update this Privacy Policy, the "Last updated" date at the top of the page will reflect the change. Significant changes will be reflected here before taking effect.

Acceptance

By downloading and using Replenish, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

License

Replenish grants you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app on iOS devices you own or control, subject to the App Store Terms of Service.

Not a medical device

Replenish is a wellness habit-tracking tool. It is not a medical device, a medical app, or a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

The hydration goals calculated by Replenish are based on general public health guidelines and are intended as a starting point for healthy adults. They do not take into account medical conditions, medications, climate, pregnancy, breastfeeding, illness, or other individual factors.

Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making changes to your hydration routine, particularly if you have:

• Kidney disease or impaired kidney function
• Heart failure or other cardiovascular conditions
• Hyponatremia or electrolyte disorders
• Conditions or medications that affect fluid balance
• Any other medical concern relating to fluid intake

Do not disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you have read or interacted with in Replenish.

Limitation of liability

Replenish is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Replenish, its developers, or contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app.

Changes to the app

We may update, modify, or discontinue features of Replenish at any time without notice. Where possible, significant changes will be communicated through app updates or in-app messages.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of France. Users may retain mandatory consumer protections under applicable law.
